How does Rope Notes pricing work?

Rope Notes has $35 pricing for a lifetime license for the first 100 customers. After 100 licenses are sold, the price will increase to $50. After reaching 10,000 customers, the software will be completely open-sourced.

Rope Notes does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The application operates entirely on your device and your private network. You gave us your money and more importantly, your trust. We don't want anything else.

No telemetry
No in-app analytics
No user accounts
No cloud sync
No personal information is ever requested or required

Third-Party Services

The website uses Google Analytics to measure website traffic and usage. Rope Notes itself does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services, and the application has no network dependency for its core functionality.

When you choose to route AI prompts to a private LLM endpoint (e.g., Ollama, vLLM), those requests go directly to the server you specify. Rope Notes has no access to the content of those requests.
